Galina holds a Law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica, where she obtained her title as Attorney and Notary Public, and she was admitted to the Colegio de Abogados y Abogadas de Costa Rica in 2003. Her academic background is of a high standard, with a clear vision toward the modernization of law. She holds an MBA with an emphasis in Public Procurement from Universidad Fidélitas and has specialized as an expert in Legal Tech and Innovation from The George Washington University School of Business. In 2024, she completed her Master’s in Business Law at ADEN Business University.

Since the beginning of her career in 2003, Galina has practiced independently as a trial attorney, developing solid experience in judicial and extrajudicial representation, as well as in the management of complex litigation strategies. Her professional trajectory also includes significant experience within the Judicial Branch, where she served as a judge in various areas, including alimony and child support, domestic violence, collections, and conciliation matters.

Her profile stands out especially for her leadership in the public sector, having served as Head of the San José RAC (Alternate Dispute Resolution) Unit at the Department of Labor and Social Security from 2018 to 2024. In this role, she led the management of collective economic-social conflicts and the handling of individual and collective conciliations, as well as being responsible for designing training in negotiation techniques.

Galina joins Vanguardia Legal, bringing a results-oriented approach, combining technical excellence with a strong capacity for active listening and empathy. Her professional practice focuses on labor law, compliance, and, primarily, Alternate Dispute Resolution (RAC).
