María Paula Solórzano has a degree in Law from the Universidad de Costa Rica, graduated in 2011 and joined the Costa Rican Bar Association in 2012. She has worked for recognized legal firms providing services to multinational companies.

Currently, she works as outside counsel for Vanguardia Legal providing support to clients of the firm in matters of business law (diligence, commercial law, labor law, real estate law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance) also provides advice on conflict resolution, both preventively and in tending to and processing litigation and arbitration.

As a litigation attorney, María Paula has extensive knowledge in the management of judicial processes, as well as alternative dispute resolution (RAC) and private negotiation, developing critical thinking and outstanding communication skills, both oral and written. She has advised her clients in matters of diverse nature: advice on labor matters, dispute resolution, drafting and reviewing of contracts, claims for breach of agreements, judicial collection and mortgage procedures, among others.

During her career, she has tended to multiple labor, commercial, transit, collections, civil, real estate, lease and agrarian lawsuits, which have resulted in favorable settlements or successful verdicts. Atty. Solórzano is a specialist in Notarial and Registry Law from Universidad La Salle and began her studies of Master of Business Law, at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (Ulacit).
